This story is actually a play .
It's about the solar system played by the sun and all the planets surrounding it.
In this play the judge, which is the sun, holds a meeting with all the planets to try to find out what planet has what ability.
And to see who is the best planet.
Jupiter is the best for having 63 moons and is the biggest
Saturn has the most rings
Venus is the hottest
Mercury is the fastest
Mars has the highest mountain
Uranus is laid back and can spin on its side
Neptune is the bluest
Earth is the only planet with live
Pluto then asked what about him all the planets said you don't count anymore and left with the sun.

Living with the consequences

I read a story it is called living with the consequences
This story is about a boy named Jack who has a habit of breaking the rules in his household.
His mum has set some ground rules for him. Jack has then thought about what these consequences were like.
He thinks that these consequences that his mum is talking about is a person who is probably old and has no kids. He also thinks the consequences has a dog named killer ! What I learnt in this story is that Jack thinks the Consequences probably eating strange food takes a long swim. He is not a fan .
But he doesn't know that the consequences are rules that his mum made for him.
Because he seemed to be breaking and eating things and even kicking his sister.
Jack still couldn't help himself he didn't listen to his mum and did the opposite
His mum said now you will have to live with the consequences
But he was lucky the consequences weren’t as bad as he imagined

In this story there’s a man called Hone Tuwhare it also says in this story that he was one of New Zealand’s best known poets of Nga puhi descent. Unfortunately when Hone Tuwhare was nine his mother had died so he moved in with his father to Auckland, it says that he was mostly well often called the “The People's Poets”.

He got his first collection of poetry No Ordinary sun was published in 1964 and has became one of New Zealand’s best and most popular poetry collections, from the 1970’s onwards Hone Tuwhare became involved in Maori Artists he also visited hundreds of schools just to encourage young people to write and enjoy poetry after that he received many awards and two honorary doctorates for his writing.

Now Hone Tuwhare spent his last sixteen years of living in a small crib in the seaside community of KaKa point, South Dunedin “Rain” is one of his best-loved poems.

We are stroking, caressing the spine
of the land.
We are massaging the ricked
back of the land
with our sore but ever-loving feet:
hell, she loves it!

We love her.
Hone Tuwhare was born on 21st Oct 1992 and sadly passed away on 16 Jan 2008

This morning i decided to read a book called the hungry wave.

In this story there is a family .

This family is made up of the mum's sister and two brothers. Their names are Ana, Niko and Mika.

The story is about when the mum was getting the children ready for school when the demon earthquake called Mafui’e came. This demon earthquake stamped his feet which made the whole village feel it . it had loud rumbling sounds that's when everything started to move. All the tin roof clattered, the post of the fale swayed, the families tv set crashed to the ground

You could hear people screaming they were all scared . the older sister Ana threw herself on the ground with the other family and watched as the house shook and rattled. One of his brothers mika was not scared he was excited and said maybe school will get broken. The big brother Niko frowned at mika and told him don't be silly when mafui’e pays a visit like this nothing is to be happy about.

The earthquake lasted a long time. It was an angry one but it didn't destroy any houses. Soon after the earthquake Mafui’e hit something else that was about to happen. Tsunami Galu the fire wave was coming and everyone was screaming and running. Was a sad story cause a lot of villages weren't so lucky but Ana village was lucky nobody died. The girl Ana was happy to have all her family safe together.

This morning before I jumped on the hangout with my class I was reading a story called Finders Keepers. It's about a boy named Joe and he had a sister named Leigh and a cat named Molly. Joe finds a big egg in his washing house and hides it in his cat's basket. He decides to  Go to the library to get a book about dinosaurs.

There is also a dinosaur. He comes looking for the egg and says hey that's my egg ‘finders keepers I found it but I lost it. I put it down for a moment and forgot where I put it ! Joe says no that's my egg like you said ‘finders keepers’ he says .

The dinosaur said I will egg you and Joe said no please don't egg me if your hungry you can have some of my sisters chocolatey fudge cupcakes so he did so the dinosaur agreed he ate a cupcake and said ‘Hmmm’ needs a pinch of salt’ joe then peered into the cocoa tin his sister had left oem on the bench with the lid off

Inside the tin the cocoa was arranged into dark chocolate swirls. Joe didn't know the tin was a portal for the dinosaur

Joe ended up giving the end back to the dinosaur. The dinosaur asked him if I could borrow that book and I would return it and he disappeared.

Everytime time Joe’s sister Leigh bakes he always comes in and leaves the lid from the cocoa tin open.

The troll who lost his family.

The troll who lost his family

My Story is set in the forest
The forest is in the middle of nowhere with heaps of bushes and trees. Not many people walk through this forest as they say there's something strange lurking amongst those trees and bushes and they sometimes hear crying.The main character in this story I'm about to tell you is a little troll who was separated from his family when they relocated to another forest. But soon things turned into a disaster

There was a little troll who lived with his family under a bridge in a nearby forest one night when things went terribly wrong. The forest they called home for years was being ambushed by other creatures. Causing the troll village to abandon their homes and everything in it .

As the trolls were rushing to leave what was once called home to them. Their one one little troll who found himself lost in the crowd was separated from his family. The little troll was very frightened and was panicking and didn't know what to do so he started yelling out his mum dad and siblings names “ MUM” DAD” where are you ? no response “BROTHER” SISTER” a yous there but still no response.

At this point the troll knew he was lost and that he would never see his family again.
When things started getting quiet every single troll in the village had left and it was just the little troll left to fend for himself against these creatures. The little troll thought to himself if i find somewhere quiet to sleep tonight come sunrise i will go looking for my family. So that's what he did he went to sleep and when sunrose he was up and ready .


He packed whatever he could food water and set off cause he knew that he can not afford to waste time he must find his family before sun down. The little troll walked for ages searching high and low looking in every single bridge he had come across but still no luck.He was getting tired. He needed to sit down, have a rest, something to eat and something to drink when he gained his energy he set off across looking and looking till he came to a dead end!! “Oh no “ the troll said where to from here ?

Then he thought about what his mum said to him.

If whenever you get separated from us just look up at trees you will spot paint marks your sister and brother have left follow these and it would bring you to us .

So what's what the troll did he made sure to follow this trail after hours and hours of walking he suddenly heard voices as he got closer he crept through the bush and saw trolls. He said to himself “hmmmmmmm could this be? Could i have found my people “ he waited a while until he spotted his sister and then he jumped out ran towards her and said thank god i finally found you . he hugged his sister she took him and as soon reunited with the rest of his family.The troll never gave up he believed in himself and listen to his mums advice which brought him back to them

The Adventure of Monkey Ninja and Baby Monster

Narrative writing. 

The Adventure of Monkey Ninja and Baby Monster

My story is set in a Kingdom far far away.

The kingdom is surrounded with black knights and horses and there's only one jewel in this place and it is being protected by all these black knights. You will only hear the sounds from the horses outside and the voices of the king and queen ordering around the maids or when they are giving orders to the knights.

The main characters in this story are Monkey Ninja and Baby Monster. They know each other as enemies no they are not friends at all. Monkey Ninja has speed and lighting powers, baby monsters have really big muscles and he can evolve into a big monster which causes him to break things that get in his way.

someone has stolen the jewels which had been guarded by the blacks knights at the kingdom. Monkey ninja and baby monster were both alerted about this when they held the kingdom's bell being rung which meant that the kingdom was in trouble and they were calling out for help.

When Monkey Ninja and baby Monster found out what had happened to the kingdom they wanted to help so for that to work they had to put whatever differences they had going on aside so that they could work together to retrieve back the stolen jewels.

First they had to travel back to the kingdom to find out how it happened. They had to get the information they needed to be able to solve this mission. Monkey ninja and baby monster spoke to everyone at the kingdom including the black knights. Apparently they were caught off guard when this all happened. Monkey Ninja said it has to be someone very sneaky so off they went what the robber didn't know was Monkey ninja and baby monster were very good at finding clues that's why the kingdom called them for help. Along the way baby monster comes across some foot printed which led them to an abandoned house monkey ninja jumped on the roof where he found a window where he saw the robber and the jewels

Monkey ninja busted through the window and baby monster evolved into a bigger monster and was able to bust through the door where they found the robber sitting there with the jewels they both worked as a team to take down the robber and was able to retrieve the jewels and return it back to the kingdom to its rightful owners. The king and queen were very much happy they thanked them both and invited them for a feast

At the end of the day Monkey Ninja and Baby Monster became friends and again.

Staying active during lockdown.

Friday 3rd April. 

Today and every other day since we have been on lock-down me my Nana sister and aunt have been keeping active by going for walks around the block in our area. I enjoy it because it gives us a chance to get out of the house for fresh air and I get to play we going on  bear hunt along the way we have to try spot bears that people have left on there windows some houses put out more then one bear . Me and my sister always have a challenge to see who can spot the most the most I have spotted was 45 my sister 47 bears during our walks I have drawn a picture below.
